The 本科 建议 and 学生事务 Office assists students enrolled in the College of Arts & 科学 with academic advising issues and acts as a referral agent to other departments. Advisers can help students with selecting majors, minors, & certificates, interpreting DARS, and developing graduation plans.

Counseling and Psychological Services

A staff of counselors and psychologists is available to provide students with confidential counseling and psychological therapy on an individual or group basis. Each year more than 1,200 students obtain assistance for a wide variety of personal, educational or 职业生涯 counseling. If students have personal problems of any kind (emotional, 社会, 的关系, 药物滥用, 等.), they offer help in better understanding and resolving problems. Students having educational difficulties can receive help in clarifying and resolving concerns.

Student Accessibility Services coordinates accommodations and connects students with disabilities to the most relevant campus resources. Accessibility coordinators review documentation and determine eligibility according to the frame工作 of the Americans with Disabilities Act.
